If you can't open Outlook, or Outlook disappears or crashes, one of your add-ins may be to blame or you may need to update Outlook. If you are having problems with Outlook, there are a few things we can help with to get you back to sending and receiving your email. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties to check your permissions for Outlook Not Sending or Receiving Email the folder. See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions. Another options is to use the Filter Email button on the ribbon. You may notice that All, Unread , Mentioned and other sort and filtering options, such as By date, and Newest are missing in Outlook above your email list.

Outlook known issues in the May 2019 updates

If so, wait a short time (usually two or three minutes) to see if Outlook starts working again. Outlook known issues in the December 2018 updates

If the check box is cleared, the service or startup program doesn't run when you restart the computer. You might need to set Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates. Installing any important, recommended, and optional updates can often correct problems by replacing out-of-date files and fixing vulnerabilities.

Outlook known issues in the June 2017 security updates

User profiles help make sure that your personal preferences are used when you log on to Windows. As your mailbox size increases, more resources are required to open each folder. If you have a large number of items in any single folder, you may experience performance issues during certain operations. Outlook Known issues in March 2022 updates

Please install the latest updates on your phone to resolve the issue. If you manually type in the secondary connected account email address in the "From" field, the email is sent as "On behalf of" your primary Outlook.com account. When you start Windows normally, several applications and services start automatically and then run in the background. A Selective Startup or "clean boot" process can help you identify problems that are caused by Exchange connectivity diagnostic application conflicts.
